William Blair analyst Sharon Zackfia previewed the upcoming quarterly report from Lululemon, stating that she expects the company to meet her EPS estimate of $2.26 and also expects comp sales growth at the high end of the company's pre-announced range of up by a mid-to-high teens percentage. She also believes comp trends remained healthy in February, with no discernible coronavirus-related slowdown in North America, noting that in-store markdowns last month were the lowest she has recorded in the month over the 11 years in which she has tracked them. Zackfia keeps an Outperform rating on Lululemon shares.
