RBC Capital analyst Arun Viswanathan downgraded LyondellBasell (LYB) to Outperform from Top Pick to reflect compression in the oil-to-gas ratio and concerns about oncoming North American ethylene capacity. The analyst still believes LyondellBasell offers industry leading buybacks and organic growth, but prefers Top Pick, Dow Chemical (DOW) given sustainable above market volume and margin growth.
