Oppenheimer analyst Glenn Greene says he prefers Visa relative to MasterCard long term, citing Visa's stronger global market share, domestic credit outperformance, and anticipated multi-year accretion benefits from the Visa Europe acquisition. Additionally, Visa seems poised to deliver accelerating EPS growth in 2017, with a volume boost from the Costco and USAA wins, the analyst tells investors in a research note. Greene reiterates an Outperform rating for both Visa and MasterCard and $85 and $102 price targets, respectively.
