TD Securities analyst Cherilyn Radbourne upgraded Methanex to Buy from Hold and raised its price target to $56 from $52 saying methanol prices are near a bottom. Radbourne said Q1 methanol prices were "exceptionally" strong and are poised to stabilize at levels the company generates attractive free cash flow.
