Cowen analyst Charles Neivert believes Methanex is one of his best long-term ideas despite near and medium term challenges. The challenges lie in methanol pricing, which is negatively impacted by export oriented capacity. Neivert maintained his Outperform rating and $55 price target on Methanex shares.
