Piper Jaffray analyst James Fish upgraded Mellanox Technologies to Overweight and raised his price target for the shares to $100 from $84. Demand remains strong across servers, storage, and switching as customers refresh and optimize their networking infrastructure, Fish tells investors in a research note. With "renewed focus and execution in the face of activism," the analyst believes Mellanox "can capture on the cycles" in 2018. Further, he thinks the stock still reflects a reasonable valuation despite the recent rally.
