Goldman Sachs analyst Robert Koort downgraded Monsanto to Sell saying soft agriculture fundamentals, including elevated grain inventories and stagnant corn pricing, present "substantial headwinds" to the company's 20%-plus annual earnings growth target. Koort cut his price target for Monsanto shares to $84 from $86. The provider of agricultural products for farmers closed yesterday down 36c to $84.94.
