After Reuters reported that Mosaic (MOS) is interested in purchasing Vale's (VALE) fertilizer assets, RBC Capital analyst Andrew Wong said he believes such a potential deal could make strategic sense for Mosaic. At a $3B purchase price, the deal valuation would be in the 5x EV/EBITDA range, the analyst estimates. RBC has an Outperform rating on Mosaic shares.
