RBC Capital analyst Andrew Wong says that Mosaic's (MOS) acquisition of Vale's (VALE) fertilizer assets will increase Mosaic's leverage to potential fertilizer market improvements and the growth of the Brazilian agriculture market. However, he thinks the company will be hurt by "near-term challenges" in the fertilizer market, while its risk from a down cycle has risen following the deal. He keeps a $25 price target and a Sector Perform rating on Mosaic.
