As previously reported, Credit Suisse analyst Christopher Parkinson upgraded Mosaic to Outperform from Neutral as he believes global phosphate prices have limited downside risk to Chinese marginal costs, lower ammonia/sulfur prices will offset recent regional price degradation, potash prices will remain at current levels for the time being, issues in Brazil are transitory, and the situation in the U.S. is likely to normalize by fall. The analyst also lowered his price target on the shares to $28 from $30.
