Jefferies analyst Corey Goldman upgraded MPLX (MPLX) to Buy after Marathon Petroleum (MPC) said it is evaluating options to highlight its MPLX GP value and optimize MPLX's cost of capital. The analyst expects this to result in an accelerated MPLX drop-down schedule. He raised his price target for MPLX and $40 from $35. Goldman also upped his price target for Marathon Petroleum to $59 and keeps a Buy rating on the name.
