After reports yesterday indicated that Microsoft (MSFT) could be considering acquiring AMD, Bernstein says that such a deal would entail a significant investment by Microsoft in exchange for "tiny" cost savings. The firm does not expect Microsoft to carry out a "flat out" acquisition of AMD.

Microsoft Gaming CEO Phil Spencer told Polygon in an interview during the annual Game Developers Conference that he doesn't just want Xbox games on other consoles, but also wants other game retailers, such as Itch.io and the Epic Games Store on Xbox platforms as well. "Consider our history as the Windows company," Spencer said. "Nobody would blink twice if I said, 'Hey, when you're using a PC, you get to decide the type of experience you have... Tesla (TSLA), NVIDIA (NVDA), Micron (MU) and Advanced Micro Devices (AMD) saw the greatest growth. Top five new positions opened include 48k Warner Bros. Discovery (WBD) 5/3 weekly 7 puts, 43k DoorDash (DASH) Jun-24 120 calls, 43k Bumble (BMBL) May-24 9 puts, 29k Tesla (TSLA) 3/28 weekly 170 puts and 25k Tesla (TSLA) 4/26 weekly 150 puts.

Notable profits for the buyer who lifted the $2.82 offer for 1,137 Advanced Micro Devices (AMD) 3/28 weekly 180 puts yesterday at 11:27ET when underlying shares were trading at $181.85. Shares closed at $178.63, and the puts at $4.06 for a mark-to-market profit of 44%, or $141K, on the $321K outlay.
