DA Davidson analyst Mark Kelleher lowered his price target on Macom to $23 ahead of tomorrow's earnings, citing continued "general sluggishness in the China market". As part of his research note, Kelleher also lowers his Q2 EPS forecast to 12c from 13c and revenue to $145M, which is down 22% from last year. The analyst keeps his Buy rating over the longer term, maintaining his view that the company can maintain "mid-teens top and bottom line growth" as 100 GB "Ethernet continues to experience rapid adoption in both the data center and service provider markets".
