Craig-Hallum analyst Richard Shannon raised his price target for Macom to $36 from $30 saying that the company's second consecutive quarterly report/guide beat relative to conservative expectations reflects the new management team's continued "strong execution" on its turn-around strategy and is a trend he sees continuing through 2020. The analyst expects Macom's existing product portfolio to drive near-term sales growth from an improving datacenter market and continued deployments in 5G fronthaul and mid-haul, and should also support the stock in the meantime. He has a Buy rating on the shares.
