As previously reported, Cleveland Research downgraded Seagate to Underperform from Neutral. The firm's analyst said another miss and cut in guidance down is likely following checks that indicate Seagate is on track to finish towards the lower-half of guidance. Cleveland said there is no evidence of success in 10TB/12TB and channel forecasts are more optimistic on Western Digital/Toshiba ramp in 14TB. Further, margins are likely capped due to enterprise weakness, price pressure in 2.5' SMR and lower units.
