After speaking with Micron management, Evercore ISI analyst C.J. Muse said that "reading between the lines" gives him the sense that the postponement of the Inotera acquisition is not related to financial, accounting or technology issues and instead appears to be either due to something that came up in the due diligence that Micron wants to remedy with concessions or that Micron is looking to reprice the transaction. Muse keeps a Buy rating on Micron shares, but said uncertainty with Inotera likely caps the near-term potential for the stock to outperform.
