Recent data points indicate decelerating growth of the PC end market in Q2, Citi analyst Christopher Danely tells investors in a research note. April Taiwan notebook shipments were below seasonal and Citi's Q2 Taiwan notebook forecast was revised down from up 5% to up 2% quarter-over-quarter, the analyst points out. Danely adds, however, that one month does not make a trend and DRAM capacity remains limited. He believes a "slight slowdown" in PC demand is not enough to lower DRAM pricing. The analyst keeps a Buy rating on Micron with a $45 price target.
