Ladenburg Thalmann analyst Glenn Mattson downgraded MicroVision to Neutral from Buy with an unchanged price target of $3. The company's Q4 results exceeded expectations but the accompanying news was a "major disappointment," Mattson tells investors in a research note. While shipments did commence on the April 2017 contract, MicroVision also announced that another large deal it had been working to close fell through, and that CEO Perry Mulligan was stepping down, explains the analyst. Mattson cites a lack of new opportunities and balance sheet concerns for the downgrade.
