Catch up on today's top five analyst downgrades with this list compiled by The Fly: 1. Noble Corp. (NE) downgraded to Sell and Underweight at Goldman and Piper Jaffray, respectively. Goldman analyst Waqar Syed sees a deterioration in EBITDA through 2018 driven by 18 rigs that are rolling off of contract between 2016-2018. He also expects the rigs will either be idle due to weak demand or new contracts will be reset at significantly lower dayrates. 2. Atwood Oceanics (ATW) downgraded to Sell at Goldman by analyst Waqar Syed, who expects a reduction in earnings power over the next three years as rights rollover from high priced contracts to lower spot rates and projects the company to be in default of its debt covenants by Q3 2017. 3. Clayton Williams (CWEI) downgraded to Underperform at Cowen after the company's strategic review came to an end without the sale of a core asset or the company. 4. EP Energy (EPE) downgraded to Sell at Goldman by analyst Brian Singer, who cited a lack of differentiated growth, relative returns versus peers, and a weakening balance sheet. 5. Mosaic (MOS) downgraded to Underweight at Atlantic Equities with analyst Colin Isaac saying fertilizer stocks have rallied on hopes that commodity prices have bottomed and better pricing momentum is ahead when the US planting season begins. Isaac said phosphate and potash prices remain weak and there are limited signs of a seasonal rebound. The analyst also downgraded Potash (POT).
