JPMorgan analyst Sean Meakim added both NexTier Oilfield (NEX) and TechnipFMC (FTI) to his firm's Analyst Focus List in conjunction with his 2020 Oil Services outlook. The analyst also removed Helmerich & Payne (HP) and Nine Energy Services (NINE) from the list. He views TechnipFMC and NexTier Oilfield Solutions as "value strategies," consistent with the positioning he recommends. Meakim favors good balance sheets, above average free cash flow capability, and near-term "idiosyncratic catalysts and bottom-level valuations." The analyst keeps Overweight ratings on all four stocks.
