RBC Capital analyst Kurt Hallead upgraded Noble Corp. to Sector Perform and maintained a $5 price target saying there has been an improvement in the environment for offshore drillers. The analyst said contracted rig utilization has bottomed and there have been modest improvements with idle rigs going back to work. Additionally, Hallead said the company tone has definitely improved with commentary regarding more term contracts at positive margins.
