Bernstein believes that, partly due to increased competition, Netflix's total U.S. potential subscriber base is only 80M. Assuming that Netflix captures 90% of this market, or 72M users, its churn would have to be significantly less than 1% to meet the consensus outlook of U.s. 65M-70M subscribers, the firm stated. Bernstein thinks that this scenario is unlikely to materialize. It keeps a $62 price target and Undeperform rating on NEtflix.
