Piper Jaffray analyst Erinn Murphy upgraded Nike to Overweight from Neutral after the firm's teen survey indicated the company remains the top apparel and footwear brand among both upper- and average-income groups. Murphy notes the brand moved significantly ahead in women's fashion and performance athletic. She raised her price target for shares to $115 from $101. Nike closed the trading day up 26c to $99.53. Teens directly command $75B of discretionary spending, Piper points out, and its survey yielded 6,200 responses with an average age of 16.3.
