JPMorgan analyst Matthew Boss notes Nike's earnings outlook for Q3 came in 25% below consensus expectations while the company reiterated its outlook for fiscal 2018. The analyst lowered his fiscal 2019 earnings per share estimate to $2.40, below the Street's $2.67, and dropped his price target for the shares to $58 from $60. Boss keeps a Neutral rating on Nike.

Nike is expected to change several elements of its new Major League Baseball uniforms by the start of the 2025 season after months of complaints from fans and players, The Athletic's Stephen J. Nesbitt and Mark Puleo report. According to a memo from the MLB Players Association to players, after weeks of conversations with the league and Nike, its official uniform supplier, the union has "receive indications" that changes will be made, including returning to the larger lettering on the jersey tops, and bringing back previous tailoring options on the pants, as well as seam stitch count and higher-quality zipper that were in place in 2023. "This has been entirely a Nike issue," the memo said. "At its core, what has happened here is that Nike was innovating something that didn't need to be innovated." Reference Link
