Craig-Hallum analyst Richard Shannon raised his price target for Netlist to $1.00 from 50c and reiterates a Buy rating on the shares. After an appeals process, the full commission of the International Trade Commission determined the administrative law judge is required to perform claims construction and ordered Netlist's patent case against Hynix be re-instituted, Shannon tells investors in a research note. This is a "decidedly positive event" for Netlist, as it allows the company to argue its claims and have a chance to force a settlement with Hynix that could create significant cash flow, the analyst contends. He believes Netlist is seeking compensation in excess of $100M.
