RBC Capital analyst Amit Daryanani upgraded NetApp to Outperform saying the CEO change could enable the board to unlock shareholder value. Daryanani sees multiple options for the company, including shifting to margin expansion mode or going private. The analyst thinks it’s logical for NetApp to explore the transition from "growth aspiration" to margin expansion. He raised his price target for shares to $38 from $35. The storage and data management software company closed yesterday down 6c to $33.10.
