Atlantic Equities downgraded NetApp to Underweight and lowered its price target to $18 from $33 on shares. Analyst Josep Bori said the traditional disk-array storage market is deteriorating rapidly due to the adoption of all-Flash, growth in the public cloud, and weak IT spending. Bori believes the acquisition of SolidFire is a good deal and the termination of the FlashRay program the right step, but said shares remain overvalued despite the lost of over 50% of their value in the last 14 months.
