Stifel analyst Matthew Sheerin lowered his price target on NetApp shares to $66 from $70 following a modest miss in the January quarter that he said was due partly to a lack of expected enterprise license agreements. NetApp's Q4 sales and EPS guidance were below consensus due to a continued cautious stance from large enterprise customers, added the analyst. Sheerin notes that NetApp should begin seeing much easier sales comps and a return to growth in Q1 of its new fiscal year and also points to the company's "best-in-class position among storage solution providers" and "stellar" free cash flow generation in support of his Buy rating.
