With "weak" enterprise demand trends, a pause in service provider spending related to the 4G to 5G cycle, and competitive pressure across the business by NetComm and edge services vendors, NetScout's "optimistic" fiscal 2020 guidance and the Street's estimates are at risk, Fish tells investors in a research note. The analyst believes the company's exposure to service provider will be a benefit once 5G spending starts, but he does not see that catalyst occurring in the near-term.
