Maxim analyst Nehal Chokshi believes investors are likely increasingly concerned that the decline in sales productivity revealed in Nutanix's (NTNX) quarterly results and weaker than expected guidance are a result of Dell more aggressively pushing VMware (VMW) over Nutanix. However, he sees data points that reads to suggest Dell's commitment to Nutanix "remains as strong as ever" and reiterates a Buy rating $42 price target on Nutanix shares.
