DA Davidson analyst Linda Bolton Weiser raised her price target on Nutrisystem to $43 from $40 after its Q1 EPS beat and raised FY18 outlook. The analyst was especially impressed with comments that monthly trends have been rising through April as a result of "marketing changes and fixes to the advertising content". Weiser also points to the company raising prices in April before making new advertising efforts in June and launching a "completely new" Nutrisystem program in 2019. The analyst keeps her Buy rating, citing the company's expected return to sales and profit growth as well as a debt free balance sheet.
