BMO Capital analyst Ambrish Srivastava raised his price target on Nvidia to $140 and kept his Market Perform rating after its in-line Q4 results and FY19 guidance. The analyst notes that the gaming issues should now be "well understood", adding that even its Machine Learning business is not immune to the cycle downturns. Srivastava sees Nvidia stock as "reasonably valued" at current levels, requiring another "hockey stick" ramp in the second half for a more constructive view.

SoftBank (SFTBY) is planning to spend Y150B, or $960M, by 2025 to boost the number crunching power at its computing facilities to develop world-class generative artificial intelligence, Nikkei Asia's staff writers report, citing sources.
