Nvidia's outlook for "flat-to-down slightly" 2019 revenues implies quarter-over-quarter growth of ~20% in Q2, Q3 and Q4, which "feels like a high bar," Jefferies analyst Mark Lipacis tells investors in a post-earnings research note. The analyst is taking a more conservative view and models 2019 revenues to decline by 9%. He thinks "most investors will discount the outlook similarly." Lipacis, while keeping a Buy rating on Nvidia with a $185 price target, expects the stock to "mark-time" until order growth resumes in Q2.
