BMO Capital analyst Ambrish Srivastava kept his Market Perform rating and $140 price target on Nvidia after its Q1 results, telling investors to "forget about" the implied "hockey-stick" second half recovery that the company forecasted at its prior earnings call. The analyst notes that semiconductor companies are "0-3" in terms of reference for a bottom or an expected second half bounce, also pointing to Nvidia's withdrawn guidance. With visibility for Q2 becoming "incrementally worse" in the company's Gaming and Data Center segments, Srivastava also lowers his FY20 EPS view to $4.00 from $4.45 and FY21 view to $4.71 from $5.53.
