Needham analyst Rajvindra Gill keeps his Underperform rating on Nvidia after its Q2 results, saying that while the quarter topped earnings and revenue consensus thanks to the strong growth in gaming, expectations for the company's data center business remained "mixed". The analyst notes that the segment still experiences strength in external hyperscaler cloud demand, but internal hyperscaler demand remains muted. Gill adds that the data center business is set to gain from secular growth drivers longer term, but he is concerned by the near term potential amid limited visibility and increased macro uncertainty.
