Jefferies analyst Kevin Grundy downgraded Newell Brands to Hold and removed the shares from his firm's Franchise Picks List following management's "recent cautionary commentary" on its outlook for the second half of 2018. Visibility is low and the need for reinvestment higher, Grundy tells investors in a research note. The analyst views the U.S. retail environment as difficult and cut his price target for Newell shares to $49 from $63.
