SunTrust believes that NXP Semiconductors' stock dropped yesterday due to a new provision that essentially exempts private equity shareholders from lock-up restrictions. The firm says this development is positive for the company ,as it lowers its trading costs. SunTrust is also upbeat on the company's sale of its standard products unit, and it keeps a $104 price target and Buy rating on the shares.
