Jefferies analyst John Janedis lowered his New York Times Q3 print advertising growth estimates to down 17% from down 14% after his firm's Ad Lineage tracker indicated that the newspaper's September quarter "finished on a weak note." The analyst expects New York Times' Q3 advertising to come in below guidance, and he sees risk to Q4. Janedis keeps a Hold rating on the shares with a $13 price target.
