Rosenblatt said ZTe and Huawei's optical component inventory levels are high and believe believe their optical shipments are flattish year-over-year in Q1. Both ZTE and Huawei have tried to build inventory with concerns of the US government potentially sanctioning Chinese telecom vendors. Rosenblatt believes the strength that US component suppliers are seeing from Huawei and ZTE for the March quarter might be due to some double ordering and that ZTE and Huawei have about 2-3 and 1-1.5 months of inventory.
