DA Davidson analyst Mark Kelleher initiated Oclaro with a Buy and a $14 price target telling investors its broad product offerings and strong financials position the company to benefit from strong growth trends in the optical switching market. The analyst said Oclaro sells the two leading factors, QSFP28 for the data center market and CFP-ACO for longer transmission distances, that enable 100 gigabit and higher transmission speeds, but has a competitive advantage by vertically integrating components to its transceiver modules.
