While expectations for Q4 results this week are more cautious amid the anxiousness around the Samsung (SSNLF) and Apple (AAPL) ramp, the positives of the new Samsung license agreement in hand and capacity ramping in Korea and China over the next two years outweigh the concerns.

Apple quietly acquired Paris-based AI startup Datakalab on December 17, Challenges' David Pargamin reports. The terms of the transaction could not be learned, but European Commission has been notified of the deal, the author notes. Reference Link
