Nomura said Olin's July 21 cut to Q2 and 2016 guidance is execution-related and not a sign that that the chlor-alkali upcycle is in trouble. The firm's analyst expects shares to recover as caustic soda prices demonstrate strength and Olin improves execution, Nomura rates Olin a Buy with a $25 price target, down from $27.
