As previously reported, BofA/Merrill downgraded Owens & Minor to Underperform from Neutral and lowered its price target to $32 from $34. Analyst Steven Valiquette said the firm's hospital survey indicates hospital customer capex softness will extend further into 2017 given reimbursement challenges and views an Underperform rating as appropriate given headwinds in the hospital market, margins, and customer losses.
