Cowen analyst Matthew Ramsay lowered his price target on ON Semiconductor to $24 from $28 following Q4 results. The analyst felt revenue was solid but that it was aided by low-margin consumer upside. He said there is little clarity on the margin trajectory as near-term profitability remains under his projection. He sees the company as undervalued and at a steep discount to peers but with limited visibility. Ramsay maintained his Outperform rating on ON Semiconductor shares.

Exane BNP Paribas analyst David O'Connor downgraded On Semiconductor to Underperform from Neutral with a price target of $55, down from $74. The analyst has "grown more cautious" about end demand for silicon carbide, especially among U.S. suppliers.
