Piper Jaffray analyst Michael Olson expects Outerwall to report Q3 results in-line with consensus and for the company's FY15 guidance to remain essentially unchanged, noting that Redbox's Q4 rental slate improves from a total box office revenue perspective and in terms of number of blockbusters. The analyst, who believes a "fall off a cliff" scenario for Redbox is unlikely, keeps an Overweight rating and $88 price target on Outerwall shares ahead of earnings, which are scheduled for October 29.
