Jefferies analyst Jason Gammel upgraded Occidental Petroleum to Buy and raised his price target for the shares to $98 from $87. The analyst believes Occidental offers a "compelling balance" of growth and free cash generation. Further, he expects the company to begin repurchasing shares later this year.
