Barclays analyst Jeanine Wai initiated Occidental Petroleum (OXY) with an Equal Weight rating and $61 price target, citing her view that its deleveraging path will be "a bumpy one. She believes it is most likely that Occidental exceeds its divestiture target and prefers ConocoPhillips (COP), which she initiated with an Overweight rating.
