Raymond James analyst Michael Rose said his recent view has been that Bank of the Ozarks CFO Greg McKinney or Chief Administrative Officer Tim Hicks were more likely successors to Chairman and CEO George Gleason than Dan Thomas, the company's Chief Lending Officer who just resigned unexpectedly. Speculation that Thomas may have left to pursue another opportunity could weigh on the stock, but Rose suggests buying any related weakness and keeps a Strong Buy rating on the bank's shares.
