SunTrust analyst Robert Peck said he was not surprised that Corvex's Keith Meister has increased his stake in Pandora (P) and called on it to explore a sale and he expects the shares to rally, especially in light of the fact that nearly 23% of the float is held short. He also expects Pandora to quickly publish an open response to Corvex, in which it is likely to voice Board support for the current strategy and leadership. Peck continues to think logical acquirers of Pandora could include competitor Spotify, Liberty Media (LMCA), AT&T (T), Verizon (VZ), and, to a lesser extent, Amazon (AMZN). SunTrust has a Neutral rating on Pandora shares, which are up 5.7% to $10.55 in early trading.
