Palo Alto Networks' report of accelerating product growth, an uptick in new customer additions and strong traction across its portfolio in Q2 "throws cold water on the central tenets of the bear thesis" and highlights the company's fundamental differentiation from its peers, said Morgan Stanley analyst Keith Weiss in a post-earnings note to investors. While he sees Palo Alto as "pulling away from the pack," he thinks the market is undervaluing this differentiation, Weiss stated. He keeps an Overweight rating on the stock and raised his price target to $205 from $190.
